Brainerd has had a rocky time with this event over the past couple of years. In 2023, they DQ'd at the state meet. In 2024, they DQ'd at the regional. This year, they ran the fastest time in the State Championship. Quite an impressive feat considering the All-Time State Record holding team raced two days later!
