Top 300 Freshmen
After last season, our expectation for what a freshman is supposed to be able to run may be a little skewed. On average, Tennessee can expect to see anywhere between ten to twenty boys run under the seventeen minute barrier. Rarely do multiple run under sixteen and until Keegan Smith ran under 15 last year it was practically never. We currently have three so far this season under seventeen with a couple more knocking on the door. Kehler Vaughn is a nice shot in the arm for Brentwood as they intend to make a run at the title this fall, Asher Oates could be just what Independence needs to jump from 4th to 3rd in Region 6 and return to state as a team, and Dylan Hunter may have run JV this past week for Christian Brothers but it'll be hard to keep him in the undercard race for much longer with performances like this below.
Dylan Hunter finished before the second runner entered the soccer stadium on Saturday gapping the field by over a minute.
