After the Friday races got postponed to Saturday, there was a lot of uncertainty heading into Saturday. Fortunately, the main line of rain by Saturday AM stayed south of I-40 keeping the amount of rainfall at the Hermitage to a minimal. Of the rain that did fall, the course drained well and the temperature fell and left optimal conditions for racing and many runners took advantage of that fact.
