Race Location: The Hermitage, 4580 Rachels Lane Hermitage, TN 37076
The Hermitage and its course are located on private property. No one is permitted to run there outside of the race day without prior permission.
There will be a $5.00 parking donation per vehicle. CASH ONLY
To race in this event, your team MUST be a member of the Midstate Cross Country Association. No entry fee (covered by MSCCA dues).*Association fee is due by the day of race. Go to midstatexc.org for fee information.
When registering online, please only enter runners who will be participating. We typically have 200-300 runners registered who do not race. With disposable chip timing, this is a very large additional, unnecessary cost. Thank you for working with the MSCCA on this.
New Race schedule for 2025:
Friday September 5th - A and AA schools and Division II-A Schools
Boys Race 5:45pm
Girls Race 6:20pm
Combined JV Race 6:55pm - Medals to the top 5 runners boys and girls
A and AA schools do have the option to race on Saturday if they so choose. A and AA schools that race on Saturday will be awarded as a team in the AAA division.
Saturday September 6th AAA Teams and Division II-AA Schools
8:15 am Boys Varsity Time cut off is 30:00(If a boy runner can not run 30:00 or under they should run the JV race)
9:05 am Girls Varsity Time cutoff is 35:00(If a girls runner can not run 35:00 or under they should run the JV race)
9:45 am - Combined JV Race - Medals to the top 5 runners boys and girls
Every team in the Association may run up to ten (10) runners each in the varsity races. All remaining runners will participate in the JV race (no limit).
Individual Awards:
A/AA Varsity Races - Medals to top 20 finishers.
AAA Varsity Races - Medals to top 35 finishers
Team Awards:
AAA Varsity - top 3 teams
AA Varsity - top 2 teams
A Varsity top team (1)
Each team packet will have the following:
Bibs with disposable chips and pins for each athlete.
