Johnny Bomar moves to Head Track Coach at King; Peter Dalton takes charge of distance program. Tom Murrel Apr 10, 2008

 Previously serving as assistant in charge of Sprints, Hurdles and Horizontal Jumps since the 2005 -2006 school year, Johnny Bomar will now take over the head coaching duties at King. Since the 2006 season, Coach Bomar has wasted no time in demonstrating his knowledge of and love for the sport. In the short time he has been at King, he has personally coached 34 NAIA National Qualifiers, 14 NAIA ALL AMERICANS, two NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and a 2007 PAN-AM Juniors Silver Medalist. In 2007 the men’s team finished 7th in the Outdoor Nationals ending a season highlighted by the achievements of seven All Americans and two National Champions.
