Sanders Ferry Park
Prior to 2020, meets held at Sanders Ferry Park would be smaller fields than what you expect to see now. The site would be host to such meets as the Beech High School Invitational (now Coleman Midgett Invitational), Sumner County Championships, and the Region 5 Championships. Now that it is the host to the TSSAA State Cross Country Championships, any team or runner that has high aspirations for the first week in November wants to be on the course at least once prior to that meet. This week will be the first of those two opportunities with Coleman Midgett then again with Saturday Light Fever in Mid-October. For those who need some historical frame of reference for what a "good time" on the course is, I present to you the All-Time list below.
