Jamall Parker became King College's second All-American at the 2006
NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. Jamaal finished 6th
in the triple jump with a leap of 48 feet 11 inches, an improvement of
19.5 inches over his previous best. King's other entry on the final
day of competition, Judy Johnson, was poised to gain All-American
status also but was stopped by an injury while competing in the 200
meter dash final. Judy had the third fastest qualifying time going into
the race. The track team will open the outdoor season at Clemson
University on March 25.
