Last year, Father Ryan's Ryan Jones put himself on the map with a third place finish in the 200m dash. Above is his final's heat win of the 2-heat final. In the spring, he would go on to win the 400m Dash outdoors for Division II Class AA. He's seeded 9th among the 220 boys entered for Saturday's meet.

Last year's KYA HS Indoor Classic was a return to Vanderbilt for the first time since 2020 and Tennessee talent stood out taking a majority of the top spots on the track, on the runways, and in the pits but if athletes from the Volunteer State are going to have the same measure of success this year, they're going to have their hands full. This year's event will be the largest indoor track and field meet in Tennessee history with 1300+ athletes and attracting national caliber talent from all over the country. 53.3 for the Girls 400m?! 1:51.34 for the Boys 800m?! 23.04 in the Girls 200m?! 25-2 in the Boys Long Jump? We may see multiple US #1s in Nashville on Saturday and we can't wait to see you there.
