Runner To Watch: Lyndi Chapman
Walker Valley's Lyndi Chapman has won five races this season and in the only race she didn't finish first, she finished second. The reason her name may have evaded you to this point is because over half of her 5k's this year were contested in Georgia as part of the Northern Georgia Cross Country League which pulls many Chattanooga area teams down for the mid-week races. With an 18:42 entering regionals, she is in position to leave Sanders Ferry with some hardware this year which would be a welcome change compared to how she finished a year ago.
