Tharp Tripling Becoming More Likely

Rutherford Country does not have a championship meet in the same way others around it do but the boys sprints on Saturday featured most if not all of the counties prominent sprinters. The 100m race above featured the following:

Tharp won the event with a 10.87 followed by Sherman (11.02) and Otey (11.26).

The foursome then returned to the track for the 200m where Tharp would win again with a 22.22 over Otey (22.31) and Sherman (22.55).

Last season, Tharp doubled in the 110m Hurdles (which he of course won on Saturday as well) and the 200m open at state but this is now the third time this season he has entered (and won) the 100m open which has me the impression he is looking to triple in all three this season. With the depth of Rockvale sprinters, a 4x100m would not surprise me either.
