Memphis Central broke the record at Texas Relays in Mid-March and rebroke the mark at state with this race above.

In total, Memphis Central scored 112 points at the State Championship becoming the first Division I AAA team to eclipse the hundred point barrier ever at the meet. Through they graduated several critical athletes since 2022, they still return enough individual points in Jordan Ware, Zavien Wolfe, and Morcellous Harris to make them the team to beat again in 2023. Though they'll still be strong in the relays, the events that are on alert this year are individually based. Ware has his eyes set on the 100m and 200m All-Time records while Wolfe is already pushing the state mark in the triple jump from his first outing at the Galleria Games earlier this month.

So while the Warriors may have left you in awe last spring, they bring back just as many fireworks for this one.
