Wasson Wins With Impressive Time

Sophomore Cooper Wasson of Bluegrass United won the high school boys race in 15:24. It was the third fastest time on the course ever only behind Miles Ramer and Brody Chapman. Wasson is Kentucky's number one ranked runner with a 15:03 at Tiger Run earlier this season.

Wasson's margin of victory was 27 seconds over second place.

Capital Homeschool Goes Back To Back

Jesse Carson (Right) and Logan Zahn (Middle) of Capital Homeschool out of Michigan led the Chariots to a back to back team title on Saturday. Carson finished runner up in 15:51 and Zahn finished 4th in 16:06. As a team they scored 50 points securing the victory over CKY Homeschool out of Kentucky who scored 113.

Coach Shoemaker and The Chariots are a Top 20 Ranked team in Michigan and if you compare their team average to the Tennessee teams that raced at Voyles earlier this year, they are second only to Brentwood.
