Faudi Notches Emotional Win

Junior Hannah Faudi of CSTHEA was overcome with emotion as she crossed the finished line on Saturday. When I caught up with her at FrontRunners earlier this season, though she got the victory and a season PR, she was still off of the times she was aiming for at the outset. Her 18:23 in dismal conditions obviously caught her off guard but in a good way.

This is now back to back victories in the girls race for a CSTHEA runner as Madeline Wheatcroft took home the victory last season.

Shorthanded Knoxville Ambassadors Claim Title

Freshman Micaiah Roberts finished seventh overall on Saturday running six seconds shy of a PR crossing the finish line in 19:36. She finished behind only one other Ambassador Megan Forstner who finished 6th.

Coach Peevy's squad place all five runners inside the Top 25 and secured a 30 points victory over runner up Grand Rapids Track Club (Michigan) 56 to 86. The Ambassadors were without Savannah Rivera due to illness who currently ranks #11 in the state with an 18:13.
