What Stands Out
Heading into last weekend, we pointed out in our preview for the Southern Showcase that technically Brentwood was not the #1 team in the state as that designation at the time belonged to the Webb School of Knoxville. Brentwood has reclaimed that spot even while including the handful of Webb runners who are ineligible during this scholastic season. Depending on where each team does their post season racing (It's already confirmed the Spartans will be running at Team Nationals) will depend on if we see this Titanic matchup this year or if it will have to wait until next. With both squads returning almost every runner in 2023, it will definitely give us something to look forward to in the offseason.
