Tennessee's Division One Large Schools state champion is headed to Oxford.
Lebanon High School senior Aiden Britt announced that he will continue his running career as a member of the Ole Miss Rebels next fall, according to a report on Wednesday morning.
Britt beat an outstanding field of runners to win his first individual state championship back in early November.
He finished the Sanders Ferry course in 15:29.
Britt finished his senior season with five consecutive wins at 5,000 meters dating back to the Burnett Invitational on September 26.
He'll join former Red Bank High School star Cole Bullock on an excellent Rebels team that placed second at the SEC Cross Country Championship earlier this fall.
Britt will sign his national letter of intent later this month.
