Seasonal bests were the norm for King athletes at Clemson

Brando Gray (Cordova HS), Josh Cloyd (David Crockett HS) and Judy Johnson (Bearden HS) qualify for Nationals in 400 dash!!

CLEMSON SC - Personal and seasonal bests were the norm for King track athletes at the Clemson Indoor Invitational Friday and Saturday. Competing against many NCAA DI schools the team faired very well. Besides Jamaal's individual win in the triple jump the team had several top six finishes. Judy Johnson placed 3rd in the 200 and 5th in the 400. Bradon Gray was third overall in the 400 only 4/10ths of a second out of first place. The men's 4x400 team placed second overall with only a bad first exchange preventing them from taking the overall win. Achieving personal and/or seasonal best were: Danny Colina (800), Marcus Lomans (200 & 60), Tyrell Cuffy (60, 1/100th from making the finals!!), David Krenik (400), Josh Cloyd (400, 4/10ths behind 4th place), Branson Gray (400), Brittany Simmons (400) and Judy Johnson (200 15/100ths out of first and 400).
