"We really emphasize foam rolling and mobility training," said Ambassador coach Luke Thomas, who sends each of his runners a video on foam rolling.  "It's really helped us cut down on injuries.  We've had no IT band or other serious injuries in the last couple of years.  Cutting down on injuries is a key to any team."

Knoxville Webb repeated as a double winner in the Division II Class A races..    Junior Carter Coughlin paced the boys to victory with a blue-ribbon time of 16:24.  The Webb boys had just 23 points in outdistancing University School Nashville (56 points) and Franklin Road Academy (97 points).  The girls had 31 points in winning their race.  The Tigers were again second with 53 points and Davidson Academy was third.  King Academy's Niamh Schumacher won the race in 18:33, the second fastest girls time of the day.

t was much the same old thing at the Metro Nashville City Championships at Steeplechase..

Will Peters winning another title for the Peters family in leading Montgomery Bell Academy to the boys crown and  Harpeth Hall winning its seventh straight City championships in the girls race.   



Fairview captures first state title ever Gary Gosch Oct 13, 2016


Some schools are fortunate enough to have display  cases full of state championship trophies..  Fairview, however, hasn't been among them until Saturday when the middle school claimed the TMSAA Class A State Boys Middle School Cross Country title in Clarksville.
