Last year's Saturday Light Fever accounts for seven of the Top 10 All-Time marks at this meet which is a vast difference from the guys list where most come from the 2022 edition of the meet.

Saturday Light Fever

When Sanders Ferry Park became the state venue after covid, the meet offerings at the site were limited. Beech would only host one invitational per year which was Coleman Midgett. To provide more opportunities for teams around the state, Sanders Ferry Showdown and Saturday Light Fever were established out of that need. SLF quickly outgrew a single day event and now spans over two days with middle school races taking place on Friday night and high school races taking place on Saturday. Even though the State Meet venue has moved to Memphis, Saturday Light Fever still stands as one of the staple openers in Tennessee.
