Last night Jackson Christian School lost what I'm certain would have been a future superstar runner but he shined even brighter on the inside as a good human being, it seems he was almost too good for this earth. As a 10th grader he was JCS's 2nd fastest runner and had won two races this year and he got 2nd place eight times this year. His fastest time in X-C was 16:58.90 but he shined even brighter on the Track, running middle distance and anchoring two relays as a Freshman on the JCS Track team. As his coach I'm devastated with a broken heart! My love and respect to his family! God Speed, The Shooting Star of West Tennennee!

The funeral will be held at the Union University Chapel Sunday 10/23/05 at 4:00pm and there will be a visitation from 1:00 to 4:00pm there also. Tonight from 5:00pm till 7:00pm is a visitation at Arington Funeral Home in Jackson, TN.
The Cross-Country team will be Pallbearers.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the John Parrish Memorial Fund at 1st Tennessee Bank.
