As a 7th Grader, Siegel Middle's Kinslee Cox placed 14th at the TMSAA State Championship and has opened her 8th grade campaign with two wins; one on the track and one on the course and currently leads the state with a 12:38 from Saturday Light Fever.
As stated in the preseason, the middle school rankings and the qualifying structure of the TMSAA has been a little bit of a blind spot for us in the past but this season, drawing attention to our runners of the future is a point of emphasis. The official distance contested for this division is 2 Miles and while not very many program across the state have raced that length, many have.
