DII-AA Girls' Race: 10 AM CT
DII-AA Boys' Race: 10:50 AM CT
Class A-AA Girls' Race: 1:50 PM CT
Class A-AA Boys' Race: 2:40 PM CT
The Awards Ceremony will be held following the completion of each classification.
Participant Info
The course will be open for preview and team packet pick-up at the following times:
Wednesday, Nov. 1: 3-5 PM for DII-A & Class AAA
Thursday, Nov. 2: 8-9:30 AM for DII-A & Class AAA; 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM for DII-AA & Class A-AA
Friday, Nov. 3: 8-9:30 AM for DII-AA & Class A-AA - packet tent will remain open until all packets are picked up.
Course Conditions
A little less than a month ago, I ran at Sanders Ferry Park couple of times since I was in the area to discover the Hendersonville Parks Department did make an improvement to a problem area.
The barrier (downed tree) has since been removed but I did reach out to the parks director about some other problem areas I noticed while there (holes on the course, low hanging branches) and he did say they would addressed. With Coach Wietecha now at Liberty Creek, meets at the course will be under new direction this year. Ed Ahlmeyer will be taking over the Beech programs and inheriting invitationals such as Saturday Light Fever and Coleman Midgett Invitational. In years past, Coleman Midgett would occur in late August with SLF occurring around fall break but due to the recent weather patterns they have swapped those dates with the meet under the lights occurring on August 19th and Coleman on October 7th for hopefully improved weather conditions for the meet that contests in the morning.
