The Mile Relay
Throughout the 2021 season, Barion Brown had not lost an individual race or relay he was a part of and Emory Moore had only lost once. Even though their teams at this point in the state championship were no longer in position to win the title, this did not prevent either athlete from putting an exclamation point on the meet with their final lap around the track.
Brown's unofficial split is likely sub-49 which only five other athletes state-wide accomplished in 2021.
Emory Moore takes the Honey Bears from 6th to 1st with an unofficial split of 56 and change.
Wow. Just wow.
Emory Moore is now at Belmont but Barion Brown will be back this season before heading off to play football at Kentucky.
