2021 Moments of the Year
To finish off 2021, we're going to countdown the MileSplit TN Top 10 Moments of the Year. #9 Crazy Close 800m Races at State
If you asked me to pick one race distance from the 2021 TSSAA State Track and Field Championships to rewatch before the end of the year the choice is easy. No other distance had as much sustained drama as the two lap race from May in Rockvale. Even while the Girl's Large Division I race will not make the cut, Houston's Lydia Tankersley managed to get second overall from the "slow heat." But as for the three we're about to highlight, a combined .11 seconds separated the winner from runner up which makes these races collectively our #9 Moment of the year.
