Owen Who?
Owen Clemons of Cleveland Middle School hit my radar when he won the TMSAA State Championship this October. It's hard to calibrate where the 10:19 he ran that day would rank nationwide but it's safe to say the 15:17 he just ran on Saturday would be number one. I honestly don't know what deal we made and who we made it with to deserve this influx of elite talent. We're the only state in the nation with a freshman in both the boy's and girl's race at Eastbay on Saturday with Keegan Smith and Abby Faith Cheeseman and we have Owen Clemons and Sarah Potter about to enter the high school ranks next season.
