TMSAA State Championships
The TMSAA State Cross Country Championships were held at Weakley Park on October 2nd in Clarksville. This was the first year Williamson County Schools participated in a TMSAA sanctioned state championship and the region south of Nashville had an immediate impact on the outcome where all four team titles were won by three schools that call WCS home. While there are still some areas of the state that continue to operate in their own silo for middle school sports, in my opinion, this consolidation of teams is a step in the right direction for the continued growth of the sport.
