Next to the Signal Mountain point total over the runner up finisher in Small Division I, this was the largest margin of victory across all classifications in Rockvale and while we can obviously point to Gianna Bullock as making up almost a third of the Tiger's point total, she's not the entire reason why Ensworth won.
|Events w/ Multiple Scorers||8||7|
|Total Events Scored||15||15|
Even if you take away Bullock's 50 individual points, Ensworth still wins 116 to 106. While seniors Claire Haley casually scored 28 points and Jaclyn Frist won the Pole Vault, underclassmen scored 16 in the jumps and another 29 in the open events. Here's Coach Johnson at the end of the night:
Ensworth School Girl's go Back to Back (2019, 2021) in Division II Class AA.
That said, the path to five victories for the Oregon commit
wasn't a red carpet escort to the podium. Coming into Wednesday Bullock was
actually seeded 2nd in the 100m Hurdles and it took a PR to come
away with the victory.
Congratulations to Coach Johnson and the Ensworth Tigers. Final "Why they won" coming next week.
