TN State Cross Country Championships Preview – 2014
This Saturday morning at about 10:00am, the TN Cross Country season will cap off another outstanding year with the State Championship meet at Percy Warner Park. Except for the D2 AA division, everyone coming here has to qualify to get in. Not sure if the D2 folks are at an advantage or dis-advantage, but rest assured every athlete making the trip down Old Hickory Blvd is coming here with a purpose. That may be to better their time from last year, get into a certain position for their team, set a standard for their school, or even win the event. Whatever that purpose might be, it comes after a lot of hard work and a lot of good races under their belts. Let’s take a look at the top contenders for this Saturdays races:
