Milligan College, Tenn. (Dec. 7, 2010) --- The Milligan College Lady Buffs cross country team has announced the addition of Christine McMahon to their 2011-12 signing class. Head Coach Chris Layne made the announcement.
McMahon is currently a senior at Lacey Township High School in Lanoka Harbor, N.J. She ran a 2010 season best at the prestigious Ocean County Championships, and has a personal best of 19:08 in the 5K. Christine also has a personal best of 5:23 in the 1600-meters and 2:25 in the 800-meters.
“Christine will come to Milligan College with outstanding credentials both academically and athletically, so we’re obviously excited to have her on board,” Layne said. “Our women’s team continues to set high standards, and I think Christine will impact our goals early in her career.”
Christine is the daughter of Ed McMahon and Melanie McCabe. She will join her sister Catie on the Lady Buffs squad.
