A runner that will likely join Tharp on the starting line in the high hurdles in Murfreesboro is Bartlett Senior Rahmaan Rinkin. With former teammate Kylan Bernard and White Station's Shamari Covington stealing the headlines in the hurdle events for all of his career, Rinkin returns now as the #1 high hurdler in Section 4 being the only returner with a sub-15 mark next to his name. He opened on Saturday with a 15.22 with the race you see above. If he can continue on this trajectory, it would be his first trip to the state meet in this event as he placed 5th as a sophomore and stumbled out of the blocks the in the Section finals as a Junior.
