Garrett Wilson qualified in both the 400m and 800m events for state last year but opted to go all in on the 800m on the day of the meet and it paid off. After sitting back on the leaders for the first 550 meters or so he came away with the victory with a 2:01.62. He lowered his PR later at MCTC running a 1:57.33.
