On the boy's side, though we had a qualifier return this season, Keegan Smith, in the Championship Field, Tennessee did not advance anyone to San Diego this season. The field was much faster that last year. Smith finished 13th on Saturday with a 15:20. Had he run 15:06 again which placed 7th last year, he still would have finished in 12th with that time in this year's field. Tennessee's next finisher was Will Douglas who ran 15:28 and placed 19th. It was a major improvement for the senior from Camden who ran 16:05 here last season.
