Analyzing State Meet Results
If you examined this weekend's article combining the State Championship results you probably went straight to find where your son or daughter or teammates ranked against the state as a whole. I looked that them in a couple of different ways beyond that however.
By Regions of the State
After the "Region of Death" article and the amount of reads it received leading up to state I figured this was a good place to start but I'm not going to cut it up by the eight qualifying regions again but rather by West (west of Dickson), Middle, and East (east of Cookeville).

It was a good year for Middle Tennessee runners in the individual category. The boys won three of the four individual crowns while the girls swept the individual honors and what stands out is that while they're all considered "middle" the representation of the winners is very spread out. Ramer is from Brentwood, Henson from Columbia, Martin from Dickson, Cheeseman from Bell Buckle, Guillamondegui from Nashville, and Hayes and Ouellette from Murfreesboro. The talent pool is very spread out while at times it may seem as if it is hyper-focused in Williamson County (Brentwood, Franklin).
Jackson Martin won the DI Class AA/A State Championship with a 15:41. Last year he finished 4th in Large Division I.
