Races to Watch:
800m:
We haven't seen Brentwood's Anna Banovac and Sofia Rutherford run an open event since Scott Hartman but they're capable of 2:15 or faster. If they can post something around that time or faster it would be a huge statement leading up to qualifying as they're going to need to secure top 5 finishes at Rockvale to give Brentwood a shot at a team title.
Short Sprints:
Whisper Thomas was the early leader in the short sprints early in the season but Division II runners Brenay Williams, Morayo Kassim, and Emory Moore have shot up the leaderboard in recent weeks. Sometime we don't know exactly what to make of these times until all athletes step on the track against each other.
Shot and Discus:
I've heard a lot about Mensi Stiff and now it's time to see it in person. The Brentwood Academy sophomore is the leader in both disciplines and with an average day will place her in the top 5 of both events.
