The Chattanooga Christian School senior won a state championship, put down a 15:33.93 season-best and pledged his college running career to Liberty University.
Not bad at all.
Cottrell was the only member of the senior class in DII-AA to break 16 minutes this year after his eighth place finish at Jesse Owens.
