Vanderbilt HS Meet Recap

It's a little difficult to figure out where to begin when talking about this year's Vanderbilt HS indoor meet.  So I'll start from the beginning... Ok, Koroibos, a cook in the year 776 BC won a stadium race that was 600 feet long.. .ok, ok, maybe a little too much towards the beginning. 

Saturday as I was driving towards the Vanderbilt indoor complex, I started thinking about what event should I try and focus on when I got there.  I thought I'd be sure I watched some of the best events of the day.   Running through those events of the day in my head, I made a mental note to be sure to watch the pole vault with the depth of the field expected in that event.  Then the 200 girls... or 200 boys... or mile... or catch as many of the throws that I could since those looked really good on the entries.  But the 2-mile looked exciting too.  Before I know it, my foot was pushing on the accelerator just a little...
