Tichina Lewis Biography

Since her freshmen year, Tichina Lewis has placed in the top ten in the city of Memphis in the 800-meter run every season. She holds seven school records in the 2000 walk, 1600 meter, 1500 meter, 800 meter, Sprint Medley, 4 x 800, and Pentathlon. She won the State Lady Cougar MVP award her freshmen and junior year at Kirby. She was recognized in The Commercial Appeal Best of the Prep in the 800-meter run and 4 x 800 as a junior year. She maintained a 3.0 G.P.A., took honors courses, worked, and scored an 18 on the A.C.T. She has left her mark in history as one of the best female runners to ever run at Kirby High School. She will be enrolling in Grambling State University and majoring in Biology.
