This is obviously my first article in a series. I had a sudden thought to write a series of articles dedicated to local East Tennessee runners and the relationships that I have had with them over the years. I hope someone does the same for the Middle and East portions of the state. Basically, as a graduated senior me along with many of my classmates are going to be gone and done with high school in a few weeks if we are not already. I just wanted to give some recognition to runners that are popular and some that may not be names that you as the reader will recognize. My articles will first be done solely for seniors and if so requested I may write a few on up and coming runners in this area. I hope everyone enjoys the stories and history of our relationships.
