Meet Information

***Holston Home is a working children's home. Please DO NOT attempt to enter the Main Campus of Holston Home or Beacon School. This presents security problems when outsiders enter the campus.***

An address near the car parking entrance - 1453 TN-HWY 70 Bypass.

Race Day Entry: This year's meet is divided into a two-day meet to help with traffic flow. Large Middle Schools 

(500+ enrollment) will run on Wednesday. Small Middle Schools (499 or less 

enrollment) and all High Schools will run on Thursday. Please register 

athletes correctly in MileSplit.

There will be a 15 team limit in each division due to a limited starting area. The first 15 teams registered will be entered. If a team registers and is a NO SHOW, you will be billed for the school maximum registration fee.

Entry Fees: $10 per individual representing a school, $40 per Gender Team, $75 Max per School entering the varsity race only. Middle Schools and High Schools pay separately. TSSAA does not allow independent entries. An additional $15.00 fee will be charged to schools entering the Middle School JV race.

Large MS Boys Race @ 5:00 PM (Top 14 runners)



Large MS Girls Race @ 5:20 PM (top 14runners)
 

Mixed JV Race @ 5:45 PM for teams with more than 14 runners. There will be an additional $15 fee for schools wishing to enter the JV race.

 

Thursday: 

Small MS Boys Race @ 4:45 PM 

Small MS Girls Race @ 5:05 PM 

HS Boys Race @ 5:30 PM

HS Girls Race @ 6:00 PM

There will be no JV races on Thursday. 



Coaches Meet Information: Please read completely and



understand these guidelines. If you have any

questions, please email Coach Blalock at 
blalockl@gcschools.net. Failure to follow these guidelines could result in

disqualification from the meet.


General Guidelines:

1.      Please announce to your team and parents runners in the current race, coaches and meet officials only will be allowed on the start/finish field. All others may observe from outside this area.

2.      Only Coaches/Managers, and athletes with a jersey and bib will be allowed on the 

event starting field. Managers on the starting field are limited to one per team and must be performing a task for the coach at the time they are on the starting field. No watching/cheering from this area will be allowed.

3.      Team tents may be set up in the designated area away from the starting area. There should be no tents placed on the  starting area. Tents must be placed along the tree line across the bridge from the starting area. No tents may be placed near the starting line or the finish line. Please maintain ample social distancing between teams.

4.      VEHICLES will be allowed to park only in the areas to which they are directed. We will be using 

areas along the running trail to facilitate race viewing. Donation jars will be placed in convenient locations. A suggested donation of $2 per person will be appreciated. There will be no change available. Cars will not be allowed to cross the course at any time. Parking will be on the 70 Bypass side of the course and is limited. please carpool as much as possible. Parking at area businessses is not recommended and will not be monitored. DO NOT park on the main campus of Holston Home.

5.      Portable rest room facilities are available near the parking area. Athletes are advised to dress in their uniforms before leaving their school.

6.      All athletes/teams will need to bring their own hydration. Arrival Times: Traffic will be heavy. Come early and be patient. The course will be open by 3:30. Please ask your patrons to NOT arrive before 3:30 as volunteers will not be available to assist them. Races will not be delayed for late arriving teams so plan ahead. We have implemented some parking restrictions to help with traffic. Your cooperation will be important to this effort. Please notify your patrons of these restrictions.

PARKING INFORMATION - 

Access to the course for cars is from the TN 70 Bypass (Asheville Hwy). Parking is restricted to designated areas at the XC course.

NO ONE will be allowed to drive across the course at any time.

There will be a $2 per person donation requested at the

race site. No charge for coach parking.
