Despite the arrival of sub-tropical weather and the worst timing job ever at the CJ 1&4 site, there were many outstanding performances at the NJSIAA Sectional Championshipsthis past weekend.
5 NJ Seasonal #1's on the Boys side, including the astounding 46.95 vs 46.96 duel between Charles Cox (Mon. Reg.) and Antonio Abney (W'boro) on Friday evening.
On the Girls side, 7 #1's were recorded with
Ashley Higginson, the Princeton bound senior from Colts Neck running 4:50.14 aggressivley from the front to smash the meet record in the G4 1600m.

*Cedric Gonnet (Eastern) -10.63 (FAT)
*Tykeen Fulton (Trenton Central) - 14.00 (Also impressive 53.65 IH Win)
*Devon Bond (Trenton Central) - 6'10" (Along with a 48'02" TJ)

GIRLS
* Shavon Greaves (Lakewood) - 23.9
* Symone O'Connor (Franklin) - 54.45
* Danielle Tauro (So. Reg.) - 2:10.54 / 10:41.40 Double

Highlights
*Craig Forys (Colts Neck) wins the G4 1600m in 4:15.41 (2:15-2:00)
Unofficial Splits - 67,67,60,59
Forys ran in the pack for 1000m and took off from there. Unofficially closes in 1:59 to break MR (4:19.3) set by Ian Waterhouse of Rancocas Valley in 2004.
* The Trenton Central juggernaut rolled in CJ4 with 116 pts.
* Kimberly Standridge (Randolph) goes 4:55.76, defeating Ashley Cromartie (Roxbury) who finished in 4:58.87
* Kyle Soloff (Morris Hills) outkicks Wayne Valley's Tony Salvatore for the North 1 G3 win at 1600m 4:16.87 to 4:17.41
* Freshman English Gardner (Eastern) 11.74 (MR / Group Record) at SJ G4
