NEW NAME, LOGO – SAME Management, Quality Events and Programs focused on Track and Field, Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field
KNOXVILLE, TENN. (May 20, 2012) — Marty Sonnenfeldt, long time director of Knoxville Track Club Youth Athletics, Volunteer Track Classic, State Middle School Cross Country Championships and a multitude of other programs and events supporting youth cross country and track and field announced today that he will move forward as Knoxville Youth Athletics.
“In order to better serve area youth we felt we needed to change our name and logo to more closely reflect what we do. We have the same management team in place and will continue on with the same lineup of programs and events that we had last year” said Sonnenfeldt. “This move will offer us greater flexibility to realize further growth in programming and events going forward, added Sonnenfeldt”. Our website already reflects the new name and logo and shortly we will have a new URL www.knoxvilleyouthathletics.org
“The summer is jammed packed for Knoxville Youth Athletics with over 1500 kids expected to participate in Summer Programs from Summer Developmental Track and Field / Competitive Track and Field to Elementary / Middle and High School Summer Cross Country Programs and the new Plataea Distance Camp”.
The Knoxville Youth Athletics Program serves to help develop the sport of track and field and cross country in the local area. Knoxville Youth Athletics serves more than 7,000 youth each year to help develop the basic motor skills of running, jumping and throwing — skills that are the foundation for success in any sports or fitness activity.
