The 2011 edition of the Volunteer Cross Country Invite will take place September 10, 2011 at Victor Ashe Park. Site of the TSSAA Region 1 Cross Country Championships and the Tennessee State Middle School Cross Country Championships, Victor Ashe Park offers participants a great preview of October Championship meets. With a mix of surfaces (grass, dirt and mulch paths) and topography the Victor Ashe Park course is true cross country. No grass over an eight lane track here. There are separate races for High School Varsity and JV as well as Middle School and Elementary School Division races. A soccer field start and finish with easy access to the mile mark and wooded viewing spots make the Victor Ashe Park course a spectator’s delight. We look forward to seeing you in Knoxville soon.
