14. Football Playoff Committee Update
The Football Playoff Committee met on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at the state office. The purpose of the meeting was to review the current playoff format and criteria. As you are aware, the committee consists of state office personnel, members of the TSSAA Board of Control, football coaches representing every class and area across the state, as well as our Board of Control President and the Executive Director of TACA. Board members will be given an update of the meeting. Any proposed change will also be presented.

17. Site of the 2012 and 2013 TSSAA Division I State Basketball Tournaments
Three cities expressed interest and submitted proposals to host the TSSAA
Division I State Basketball Championships in 2012 and 2013. Those cities are Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, and Cookeville. Representatives from each of those cities have been contacted and asked to make a presentation during this meeting. The schedule for proposals is as follows:
1:30 – Murfreesboro
2:00 – Cookeville
2:30 – Chattanooga

22. Division II Request
The Division II Committee met in the state office on January 5, 2011. The Committee has requested that the Board of Control discuss rotating the order in which the football championships are played in Division I and Division II to minimize the number of days students miss school.
