2010 Knoxville Track Club Throws Clinic

 

 What a way to start the year and prepare your throwers for the 2010 season with a day of intense drills and form building with one of the nations top throws coach, John Frazier from the University of Tennessee.

 John and his staff of athletes work together to incorporate technique, discipline and hard work to achieve the maximum potential of each athlete.

 

 Athletes are taught the skills that are needed to succeed in the sport from stretching to plyometrics to the proper form when throwing the shot put or discus.

 

 John has a long list of the rewards that go along with training hard and training right.

·      During his career, athletes Frazier has coached have achieved a total of 36 All-America honors and won four NCAA championships

·      He was named 2005 USTCA National and West Region Assistant Coach of the Year for Throws

·      At UT, Frazier has directed athletes to three All-America honors, four SEC titles and two NCAA regional crowns

·      Guided Shields (shot put, '02) and Kuehl (discus, '03) to U.S. Junior Championships and Shields to an American junior record (and world junior record for a time) in the shot

·      And the list goes on.

 John and his staff will conduct 2 more clinics for your athlete to attend and coming from this coach, his training is priceless.

The dates are:   February 14th & March 21st from 2-5pm at the Tom Black Track.

 The cost is only $30.00 per athlete. Implements will be provided.
