While Memphis Twilight is your unofficial start to the season in Memphis, Victor Ashe is your unofficial start to the season of racing in Knoxville and this Saturday would typically be Hardin Valley's opener. With the rescheduling of Saturday Light Fever, we're almost 2 weeks removed from the event at Sanders Ferry Park and are a little overdue to spotlight the season debut of Maddie Archdale. Her 18:09 as compared to every other girl who ran at state in 2022 on this course is behind only three runners from last November: Claire Stegall, Abby Faith Cheeseman, and Bella Guilamondegui... All State Champions. Archdale has finished 12th, 10th, and 12th in Division I Class AAA but looks on track to finish much higher this season. Her senior campaign continues this weekend where she took the victory in rainy conditions last season over a quality field. Here's how that looked courtesy @JohnstonAerials.
