Mason Green - Ravenwood
When it came to Ravenwood throwers last year, Reghan Grimes stole all the headlines late in the season. At the same meet where she set the state record, teammate Mason Green quietly threw a significant mark himself. His 175-4 was a new PR by 12 feet and is the #1 returning mark of all throwers statewide. After one indoor meet, he may be challenging for the tops spot in the shot put as well this season. He threw 54-1.5 at the KYA Indoor to take second place behind only returning #1 shot putter Drake Carlson. He sat down with us to talk about his most recent performance and his expectation for 2023.
