WATCH: BA's Johnson, Thompson Go 9:04, 9:05 At Nashville PR

Nashville PR 3200m

Despite a wind-chill factor of 30 degrees, the 11th Annual Nashville PR Meet tallied an incredible 91 Milesplit-verified 3200m PR's this past Saturday. More than 25 runners had PR's that were greater than 30 seconds in the chilly racing conditions at Brentwood Academy in the first of a series of post season PRs that will take place in Tennessee. Carter Johnson let teammate Luke Thompson and the pacer do the work for the first six laps before taking the lead with 700 meters to go to run 9:04 and lower his best time for 3200 meters by almost 10 seconds. For Thompson, it was over a 30 second PR for the distance. Neither boy was far off Brodey Hasty's 2017 meet record mark of 8:57.

Bella Guillamondegui slightly lowered her PR as well from 10:42 to 10:40 as she paced with the boys in heat 9.
