Low Score Wins
In track, the most points wins. Your teams get 10 for first place, 8 for second, and so on until 1 point is awarded for 8th place. In cross country, low score wins. If we score 3 runners, Ensworth accumulates 39 points with their top three runner's rank. 8 for Jayda Woods, 9 for Erica Douglas, and 22 for Jaloni Cambridge.
Now in cross country you score five runners with the sixth runner acting as the tiebreaker but I had a hard time running this report with only that range calculated since at most track meets you can only enter 3 varsity runners so I decided on this first page to tabulate the scores with that in mind.
Scoring Top 3 Per Team
Ensworth swept the 100m dash in the DII Class AA Final on May 25th with Erica Douglas winning, Jayda Woods getting second, and Jaloni Cambridge placing third. They would later win the 4x100m relay with the state's fastest time across all divisions.
