WATCH: Kylan Bernard Runs US #2 60m Hurdles in Birmingham

The Galleria Games

Covering indoor is tough when most races are out of state and many runners you familiarize yourself with during the scholastic season don different jerseys during the club season. That said, a lot of Tennesseans were in action this past Saturday at The Galleria Games in Birmingham, Alabama.

FULL RESULTS

The easiest way I found to sift through the results is by team where you can click to filter on the right hand column. Some of the clubs from Tennessee include KinderSport Athletics, Youth Track of Memphis, Farragut TC, Memphis Jaguars, Cleveland Express, Team 4mula TC, Nolensville, Memphis Mustangs, Whitehaven, Trial by Fire, Brentwood, and Bartlett.

For most, these serve as a way to knock off some rust. For others, they serve as a way to make a statement. Last May's defending 110m Hurdle State Champion, Bartlett's Kylan Bernard, did just that on Saturday in the 60 Meter Hurdles.

His 7.95 is a US #2 for Club runners in the 17-18 age group and overall. With he and White Station's Shamari Covington returning this Spring, we could see the state record held by Brevin Sims broken several times by both hurdlers.
