ANNOUNCEMENT: KYA set to host 5K PR Classic and Time Trial

KYA 5K PR Classic 2021

What better way to end your fall or prep for a national meet than with a big 5K PR on a super fast course? We will be racing at Cherokee Blvd on the super flat speedway in an effort to make sure our athletes end the year two blazing fast PRs!

Meet Schedule **Subject to Change after Deadline**

9:00 AM - Girls 5K

10:00 AM - Boys 5K

Enter here, you will pay $10 at the event when you pick up your bib. If you are in the KYA Post Season XC Program, this event is free. Coaches, if you are bringing a group of athletes, we will group up your team bibs if you can group up your team's payments, it will help keep the line down.

The electric atmosphere with digital split times every 200m and great music sets jammin' over the PA serve to produce superior performances. The 2013 Time Trial saw the meet record shattered by Aaron Templeton (Hardin Valley Academy) going 8:54.26 with two other athletes under 9:20.  In 2017, Rebecca Story (CAK) set her goal to be the first Tennessee athlete to break 10 minutes...twice. She ran 9:59.80 for the second year in a row narrowly beating her Tennessee state record. Your 3200 PR is sure to go down. Register here.
