The throws in Division II AA have more implications than in just their classification. As I wrote about in my season preview and just last week, Mensi Stiff, sophomore at Brentwood Academy, two feet from breaking the longest standing Girl's State Meet Record in both disciplines that have stood since 1984. These are the current records compared to Stiff's PRs.

100m Hurdles
It's also hard to imagine someone being ranked ahead of Ensworth's Gianna Bullock in the hurdles but here we are. Evie Culbreath of Baylor comes into next Wednesday ranked ahead of the Oregon Commit who has been unbeatable this year over the 100m distance this season. If you tune into the live stream 30 minutes late, you may miss the best race of the evening when it comes to the girl's open races.
Gianna Bullock defeated a loaded field with competitors across all classifications late last month running at 14.79 at the Great Eight Invitational.
